Go home bird, you’re drunk.
Drunk? Naw, just proving how smart as fuck they are!
Playful behavior
In recent years, biologists have recognized that birds engage in play. Juvenile Common Ravens are among the most playful of bird species. They have been observed to slide down snowbanks, apparently purely for fun. They even engage in games with other species, such as playing catch-me-if-you-can with wolves, otters and dogs.[77] Common Ravens are known for spectacular aerobatic displays, such as flying in loops or interlocking talons with each other in flight.[78][79]
They are also one of only a few wild animals who make their own toys. They have been observed breaking off twigs to play with socially.[80]
“Stop trying to make snow angels, you already have wings”
“YOU’RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME”
*rolls around everywhere*
“I don’t know you”
*walks off*
Ravens are so cool!
THEY WILL TAKE OVER

This isn’t the least bit surprising. My Sweeneys have a tendency to… travel. »
That, and if I’m envisioning them at all right, they’re basically archetypes. Does she tell you to stop putting yourself down like she does to me? Or, if not that, is she apathetic about people you meet until the moment they prove themselves either useful or entertaining?
In this case it’s more the magpie - Megan pretty much *is* a magpie (blah blah changeling magic complicated blah) and there was something about the magpie you painted there that made her go YES THAT. But now you come to mention it, both of those traits do kind of fit her…
(It’s not quite like it is for you or most people who do this, though - I am a whole extra remove away from my girls than basically anyone else I know of who does this. There’s whole posts in this one, I know! But not yet - I very very very rarely talk about this at all openly.)
BUT NOW I AM THINKING ABOUT IT from the painting your Adja reminds me in some ways of my Helen. Yes. Archetypes. And magic. And stuff.

Josephine and Magpie
She isn’t Hera, but I strongly doubt she would be offended if you interpreted her as such (I did, mistakenly, for a long time). She likes to dress in the styles of the 1920’s, and with peacocks and grecian drape being all the rage at that time, its easy to make the mistake. But she’s rather fond of what she’s seen of Hera in mythology.
Josephine is the book name for Sweeney Jordan.

MIKA — We Are Golden
Like a magpie
I live for glitter, not you
We are not what you think we are
We are golden, we are golden
